You say the "man of lawlessness" in among JWs today. But do you realize the actual weigh and import of making such a statement?

First of all, whatever happened to elders being "appointed by holy spirit", as it was among first century christians? Have you abandoned that thought now, even in regards to the Governing Body? In your estimation, were they ever appointed by holy spirit?
Yes, I believe so. In the first century, for example, the super-fine apostles of Corinth were apppointed by holy spirit, even though later they became tyrannical. Diotrophes is another 1st century elder who became a tyrant. Take the case of Judas, he was handpicked by Christ, and yet you know how he turned out. As I pointed out, Jehovah’s judgment doesn’t necessarily condemn those negligent elders to everlasting death, as it did in the case of Judas. After all, the faithful slaves who ultimately are appointed over all the Master’s belonging first get thrashed with a few strokes, so it is in keeping with the rule that teachers receive a heavier judgement that Jehovah disciplines his own.
Well, regardless, I'm afraid the word "incompetence" doesn't even begin to encompass the massive guilt incurred upon JWs at this point, and the wicked Governing Body and assistants at Bethel. The 10-year secret UN liason Scandal and the pervasive pedophile problem for JWs is just the "tip of the iceberg".The judgment of Jehovah upon the bad shepherds probably doesn’t have a whole lot to do with the UN fiasco. After all, most elders have no knowledge of that, so they are innocent from that whole affair. Clearly, Jehovah says above He saves his sheep from "plundering" by His decisive action of "judging between a sheep and a sheep."
No. That's not what the Scripture says. The verse I cited previously indicates that those doing the plundering are the nations. Jehovah takes the bad shepherds to task because they do not protect the sheep or rescue them from those doing the plundering.

That's your characterization. The 34th chapter of Ezekiel doesn't make that sort of judgment. It doesn't even condemn the bad shepherds to death. It merely points out that at some point Jehovah is going to relieve incompetent shepherds of their positions over his sheep and more directly, personally, take over shepherding, through his servant "David."
